204 - Round The Bend

"I Hear the Train a Comin’ It’s Rolling ‘round the Bend." - Johnny Cash

  • Artist Statement

Yogi Berra once said, "If you come to a fork in the road, take it." As ridiculous as that phrase may seem, it speaks to the necessity of choosing our path and committing to it fully. That is epitomized in how a train moves. If the train comes to a fork in the track, it cannot take both paths. It must choose one, and keep rolling. We can use this wisdom in our own lives. Once we have chosen a path, it doesn't behoove us to keep the other path in our mind... we cannot split our train of life down two avenues. In order to keep rolling, we move forward confidently in the tracks we choose, and enjoy the view.
