  • Artist Statement

    'Show' is the first piece of a three-part horse racing series released with the Fall Collection of 2009. Along with 'Place' and 'Winner!' it is a segment of one whole image, with a different quote on each tile. This piece represents the humorous side of the sport. Using the unconventional term for common sense, W.C. Fields quipped that humans would do much better taking the cue from horses and not bet on the behavior of us humans!
