  • Artist Statement

    It is rare that inspiration strikes when we're bombarded by things to do and thoughts from all directions. We have a funny saying around the studio when trying to problem solve or come up with something new: one person will joke, "1, 2, 3 be creative!" and it breaks concentration away from a coerce solution and reminds us that you can't force inspiration. It just comes to you. In the quiet spaces, during the gaps between thoughts, whether you're half asleep, eating dinner or on your bicycle. Those moments, when you least expect it, are the inspirational things to catch when they fly by.
